  2. ** NEW EXPEDITED SERVICES**

    14 June 2022  - Additional Passport Processing Services Available from the State Department

    We offering a limited number of submissions for 7-10 business day processing.  Submissions are limited to 6 applications per week, 3 for Tuesday and 3 for Thursday.  Please call for availability before sending your applications.

  3. SEPTEMBER 25, 2020 - Expedited Passport Renewal has resumed.

    AS OF SEPT. 25, 2020, DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, THE STATE DEARTMENT HAS LIMITED EXPEDITED SERVICES TO PASSPORT RENEWALS ONLY (PRIMARY 10 YEAR BOOKS).   EXPEDITED PROCESSING TIME IS 4 - 6 WEEKS, REGULAR NON-EXPEDITED PROCESSING IS STILL 10-12 WEEKS.

  4. SEPTEMBER 10, 2020  - GHANA EMBASSY OPENS FOR VISA PROCESSING

    A few Embassies have reopened for visa processing. Please note that you may be required to have a Covid Test before

    entering the country of your visit.  Please give us a call to confirm.

  5. SEPTEMBER 9, 2020 - PASSPORT PROCESSING - STILL IN PHASE 2 REOPENING AT THE STATE DEPARTMENT

    Since July, a limited number of State Department employees have reported back for work at the Passport Office but will only accept applications by appointment and on a case to case basis, mosty life or death emergencies.  Vp2Go will still try to assist. Please give us a call if you have an immediate need for your passport if there are any available options.  

     

  6. IMPORTANT TRAVEL ADVISORIES:

    In connection with the Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCov) outbreak in China (People's Rep.), please see below the recent changes in travel regulations.

    • Mongolia: Passengers who reside or have been in the Hubei Province (China People's Rep.) in the past 1 month are not allowed to enter Mongolia.
    • Singapore: Passengers who have been in the Hubei Province (China People's Rep.) in the past 14 days or nationals of China (People's Rep.) with a passport issued in Hubei Province (China People's Rep.) are not allowed to transit or enter Singapore.
      Sri Lanka: Nationals of China (People's Rep.) can no longer obtain a visa on arrival.
    • The Philippines: Nationals of China (People's Rep.) can no longer obtain a visa on arrival.

  9. July 4-5, 2019: Independence Day:

    In observance of Independence Day Visas and Passports 2 Go will be closed on July 4-5, 2019. We will reopen on Monday, July 8, 2019. Most consulates, and the U.S. Department of State, will also be closed on those days. Please plan accordingly.

  10. Friday, May 24, 2019: Memorial Day

    In observance of Memorial Day Visas and Passports 2 Go will close at 2pm today. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. Most consualtes will also be closed on Monday, May 27th. Please plan accordingly.

  11. Friday, April 19, 2019: Good Friday

    In observance in the week of Lent, Visas and Passports 2 Go will close at noon in order for our staff to attend church services.  A staff member will be available to answer your question and request for forms and information via email at info@vp2go.com.  Please plan accordingly.

  12. Monday, February 4th through Tuesday, February 5th: The Chinese consulate will be CLOSED on February 4th and 5th in observance of Chinese New Year. Visa processing will be suspended until they re-open on February 6, 2019. Documents received before then will be submitted on February 6, 2019. Please plan accordingly.

  13. Monday, January 21, 2019: In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day our office will be CLOSED. Most embassies, their consulates, and the Passport Agency will also be closed. Our office will reopen on Tuesday, January 22nd.

  14. Monday, January 14, 2019: Due to a snow emergency situation, and safety of our staff, our office will be CLOSED today. Please email us at info@vp2go.com if you have any questions, concerns, or need information. Passports and visas that are scheduled to be ready today may also be affected by the inclement weather and snow closures. We will update as soon as possible. 

  15. 2019 TRAVEL UPDATES:

    CHINA (PEOPLE'S REP.)
    Effective from 1 January 2019, the 72-hour TWOV facility at Chengdu (CTU), Kunming (KMG), Qingdao (TAO), Wuhan (WUH) and Xiamen (XMN) will be available for 144 hours.

    PERU

    Effective from 1 January 2019, passports and other documents accepted for entry must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the arrival date.

    TURKEY

    Effective from 29 October 2018, the e-visa facility will no longer be available via kiosks at airports in Turkey. Passengers must obtain their e-visa prior to departure at www.evisa.gov.tr

     

  16. A Fond Farewell to an Exceptional Employee

    My most trusted and valued friend, employee and courier, Antonio Antezana is retiring after 20+ years of service and going back to his home country to celebrate and be with his family for the holidays and beyond. He has worked miracles in getting passports and visas for all our travelers but It takes a special kind of person with a "we can do it" attitude to commit and get the job done on a daily basis.   20. No Glasses Allowed in US Passport Photos Beginning November 1, 2016

    As of November 1st, 2016, customers applying for or renewing their passport must remove glasses for their passport photo.  Addition information regarding this new requirement is posted on the US State Departments web site at  https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/news/no-glasses.html 

     
  21. Travelers: Don't wait! Renew your U.S. Passports now.

    Nearly 49 million passports are set to expire within the next three years, and government officials are warning there will be an flood of renewal requests through 2018.

    The reason: A U.S. law that went into effect in 2007 requires U.S. citizens to use a passport when traveling to Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda.

    As a result, nearly 18 million passports were issued in 2007 alone, and since passports are only good for 10 years, all of these will soon be up for renewal.

    Adding to the time crunch is the fact that many European countries won't accept passports within six months of their expiration date. 
     
  22. EFFECTIVE JAN 1, 2016 - ELIMINATION OF VISA PAGE INSERTS FOR U.S. PASSPORTS

    The U.S. Department of State will no longer add visa pages into U.S. passports beginning January 1, 2016. Previously, U.S. passport holders had the option to pay for the insertion of additional 24-page visa inserts when valid passports lacked adequate space for entry or exit visa stamps. The decision to discontinue this service was made to enhance the security of the passport and to abide by international passport standards.

    Beginning January 1, 2016, applicants in need of additional pages in their valid passports must obtain a new passport.
  23. Embassy of Venezuela - Effective Immediately March 9,.2015

    Tourist  visas are now required for travel to the country,  Personal apearance is required at the Embassy or Consulate to obtain the visa.  Vp2Go cannot assist at this time.


  24.  Mozambique Fee and Processing Times Change

    The Embassy of Mozambique has changed their fees and processing times for all visas. There will no longer be same day and 2 day visa proccessing. Please see the Mozambique page on our website for a list of the full changes and the updated fees.
  25. Turkey Visas - Effective April 10, 2014

    Visa on arrival will no longer be available.  Please secure your visa prior to traveling. The E-Visa is available online at  https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/ . Vp2Go can assist in getting your E-Visa visa as well. Please refer to our Turkey Visa Guide for more information.
  26. New Passport Letter of Authoriztion:

    The Department of State is now requiring a new Letter of Authorization to be submitted with each passport application. Click here for the new form.
  27. Embassy of Australia - Effective Monday March 25, 2013

    The Embassy has released new application forms for both tourist and business visas.
    Tourist Application 48R has been replaced with Tourist Stream Application 1419.
    Business Application 456 is has been replaced with Business Stream Application 1415.
